2011 Camaro Convertible
I can’t wait for this one. After 2 weeks driving the new Camaro, I can tell it will make one great convertible.

The “Refine” by Jianghuai…
What a name. The Refine…. And what a car. At least, it’s….Original. I’ve never seen that much glass used on a fender before.

Jaguar’s 3 series fighter coming
Jaguar is working on another “small” car to compete with the Mercedes C class and the BMW 3 series. I just hope it looks like the 2004 R-D6 concept. That design was way ahead of its time. 6 years later, it still looks more modern than almost anything today. The small X Type sedan was… Continue reading Jaguar’s 3 series fighter coming

Chinese Buick GL8
The current model, based on the old Pontiac Montana, is 10 years old this year. So yes, I’d say it’s about time for a new one… Just like most GM cars these days, the standard engine will be the 2.4 Liter. With a V6 as an option. I just hope Buick doesn’t bring this one… Continue reading Chinese Buick GL8

Porsche Panamera convertible
The rumor started a while ago. But it was mostly about a convertible version of a 2 door Panamera. This patent picture shows a 4 door car. Which is pretty incredible and weird. The structure of the car would have to be so strong. There seem to be some kind of a brace right behind… Continue reading Porsche Panamera convertible

2012 Chevrolet Malibu?
It sure looks like it… These are supposed to be patent drawings of the Chevrolet Epica replacement in Europe. It would make sense that both the Epica and Malibu would become the same car for the next generation. The square lights in the back do have a Camaro feel to it. A nice touch.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze Coupe
The Cruze might eventually offer almost every single body style possible. Including a hatchback and/or a wagon . A sporty Turbo SS version is also in the works. Although from the wheels on this prototype, this is not it. The coupe will compete with the Civic and Forte coupes. And will be mainly for the… Continue reading 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Coupe

Chevrolet Camaro V6 test drive
-HOW IT LOOKS. In my opinion, the new Camaro is one of the best looking cars around, period. I loved the concept when it first came out, and couldn’t wait to see the production version. And I wasn’t disappointed when I finally did. The car looks pretty amazing in person, with a very strong road… Continue reading Chevrolet Camaro V6 test drive

More crazy claims from Chinese BYD
BYD showed the all electric E6 model in Detroit. -They claim a range of about 300 miles. About 3 times the Nissan Leaf. The car would be about $40 000 in the US. -Then they said they would be the world’s largest car manufacturer by 2025. (Who knows what the world will be like in… Continue reading More crazy claims from Chinese BYD

Honda CR-Z European pricing.
It will start at 22 500 Euros. In countries where the Civic Hybrid starts at 23 900 Euros. Which is the price in Dollars of the Civic Hybrid in the US. So it’s fair to expect a starting price of around $22 500 in the US. Europe also gets a more luxurious model that includes… Continue reading Honda CR-Z European pricing.

2012 Alfa Romeo Spider
This is, of course, just another illustration. But I think it looks great, with just enough retro touches. I just hope we’ll get to see any Alfas in the US within the next couple of years. The Spider would be the perfect model for the brand’s return to the US. And they should use Dustin… Continue reading 2012 Alfa Romeo Spider

Next Mercedes B Class coming to the US
We were supposed to get the current model, but at the last minute, they decided to send it to Canada and not to the US. But the next generation is coming, and a couple of other “Sub-C class” models as well. That could include a small sedan version of the next A Class. And maybe… Continue reading Next Mercedes B Class coming to the US

Mazda2 Chinese clone
Chinese company Haima is coming up with a “sporty” looking version of their Mazda2 clone. They claim the car isn’t the Mazda2, that it is larger. They do have links to Mazda and have built cars for them in the past. So I guess they think it’s OK….

Acura TSX wagon
As mentioned before, pretty much the Euro version with an Acura front end. Which is what the sedan is anyway. Not sure about pricing, or even engines yet. A V6 option might be pretty pricey for such a small market…

Run away Prius?
Is this just another dim witted driver, or a real Prius problem? The cops had to tell him to use the emergency brake, he just could figure it out on his own. What do you think?

European Chevrolet test drives coming up
That’s right. I will be in Europe for a few days, and will be test driving 2 new Chevrolets. First the all new Spark with a 1.0 Liter engine. The US might be getting a larger 1.2 Liter, but it will still be interesting to see how this little car compare to others. Mainly the… Continue reading European Chevrolet test drives coming up

Opel Astra Wagon
We all new it was coming. As well as a sporty coupe for later. The Astra sedan will be sold here next year as the smallest Buick, so this might also make it across the Atlantic. Just like its big brother the Insignia wagon will be our Regal wagon. We’ll have to see. Ford already… Continue reading Opel Astra Wagon

2011 Acura TSX Wagon coming up
An easy transfer: it will basically be the same car that has been on sale in Europe as the Accord Wagon. Except for the big Acura grille. It will compete here with the Audi A4 wagon and the upcoming Buick Regal wagon. We will be seeing it in a few weeks at the New York… Continue reading 2011 Acura TSX Wagon coming up

2012 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon
Pretty much a no brainer. There is already a “V” version of the coupe, so it was just a matter of time for the wagon to get the V8 option. I must say, after seeing it in person, the wagon has to be one of the best looking cars around. The whole CTS line up… Continue reading 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon
