• Ford Fiesta

Just more pictures of the 5 door version that will be shown at the Chinese Auto Show next week. Not sure we’ll get this version in the US.From what I hear, the Saturn Astra Hatch is pretty much a flop in the US.Again, telling manufacturers American customers don’t want hatchbacks… Sad…

  • Buick Invicta Concept

As we all know, this is pretty much the next La Cross.Based on the same platform that will be used for the Opel Insignia and the next Chevy Malibu. This is a really nice design.I am just not so sure GM has much room price wise, above the Malibu and the Aura. How much can a… Continue reading Buick Invicta Concept

  • BMW 7 Series

These look pretty real to me. Especially the blurry interior shot. Again, nothing special. You’d think that much money would get you something that sands out, a little bit…

  • Audi Q5

Official pictures this time.It does look a bit better than some of the illustrations we saw before. The fenders have a bit more shape. But still, this will be one of the most invisible car on the road.

  • Mercedes GLK production model

I thought the “concept” version at the Auto Show looked pretty bad already, but this is even a little bit worse.especially the versions with the super cheap black plastic trim outside. What were they thinking. This looks like it came out of the mid seventies. I guess this is mercedes’s way to play the “retro card”.Even… Continue reading Mercedes GLK production model

  • better Opel Insignia pictures

That is a good looking sedan. And it is about 8 inches longer than the Vectra it replaces. So GM might not need to “make it bigger for the States” when that car turns into the next Saturn Aura.Which is what they had to do to translate the Vectra into the current Aura.

  • Roewe 550 official pictures

Nothing we haven’t seen before. And it still looks pretty good.I still think it could maybe compete with cars like the Jetta over here. we still need to find out how it drives. Curious to read about European test drives of this one…

  • More on the VW Lavida

With larger wheels and better trim, it already looks much more upscale.I thought this was to be some cheaper small sedan, but the info from China is quite the opposite. They claim this is based off the Audi A4 and the interior is supposed to be “Phaeton like”. We’ll see…..

  • Revised Hyundai Elantra

So far, for the Chinese market only.I never thought much of the new Elantra design, so this is better. But yesterday, I saw a couple of new Corollas on the road. What a mess that design is.It actually makes this new Elantra a much better looking car. Almost looking original…

  • Next BMW 7 series

This still looks like an illustration. But it is really close to all the spy shots we’ve seen of this car for the past 5 decades. And it still looks pretty sad compared to the CS Concept from last year…

  • Nissan Teana

Pretty much a Nissan Avalon. Or a Nissan Azera.Thank God we get the Maxima over here…

  • More E class interior pictures

Thanks to Auto Express. We still can’t see the whole thing. But I really like the current interior and I doubt this will be an improvement…

  • Next Mercedes E Class

Well, that’s a bit better than earlier pictures we’ve seen of the interior. But not by much. Still a bit trucky looking for an over $50 000 luxury sedan…

  • Buick ???

This was caught in China. The new “land of Buicks”. Looks like the upcoming Invicta concept, except it looks like a production car.Could it already be the production version of the Invicta. Or the new La Crosse? Are they the same car??? Huh????

  • JAC A137 and A138

More small Chinese cars. The names are really not exciting, but they do look pretty nice. By the way, there is a Chinese auto show coming up. Just so you guys know why there are so many new cars from over there…

  • VW Lavida

Again, this is one of these “Chinese market only ” cars.Makes sense since this is the largest market for a lot of manufacturers. Not sure what this is based on, but it actually looks like another bland Chinese sedan.Weird…

  • Roewe 550

Just a couple more shots, including the interior. What could have been a smaller Rover. Still looks really nice, especially for a Chinese sedan.

  • Hollywood gas

I couldn’t’ believe my eyes. This was last week end in Hollywood. It is from far the most expensive gas I have ever seen.
