2010 Chrysler Sebring
Chrysler announced a few months ago it was already working on revising the Sebring (And Avenger) because of slow sales . Well… duh… Anyone with half a brain could have told them these cars weren’t going to be major hits. They just needed a small 300 . This would have been a hit. From this picture… Continue reading 2010 Chrysler Sebring

Mercury’s slow death…
This picture is proof that Ford isn’t really planning on keeping mercury alive much longer. The revised 2010 (or is it a 2009?) Milan will be the last “new” Mercury model. This was supposed to be a Mercury version of the Ford Taurus X. But, as you know, it never happened. As we can see here,… Continue reading Mercury’s slow death…

What happened to this?
This picture was taken in 2005. Obviously from some building across a GM design center. Or something. The car pictured looks more like a concept than a production model. There were rumors a couple of years ago about a large Cadillac coupe.I guess with gas prices, and Cadillac’s decision to cancel V8 engines soon, a… Continue reading What happened to this?

VW Rabbit on top.
Consumer Reports just put the VW Rabbit on top of its recommendations among other small hatchbacks. They even say the predicted reliability should be above average. That’s a pretty big turn around for VW. I like the Rabbit/Golf. Funny because I don’t like the Jetta. But somehow, the same interior in the R32 I drove didn’t bother… Continue reading VW Rabbit on top.

Mystery VW
Doesn’t look great. But it looks like a VW.A mysterious model I have never seen before. Could it be a mule for that “US only” sedan that is supposed to replace the “too expensive for Americans” Passat?Or is it yet another Chinese Volkswagen model? What do you think???

Where is home?
Another simple question. I am just trying to improve the site. And I am also curious to know where the readers are from (so are potential advertisers…) I know most of you are in the US. But I also have heard from people in many other countries. And I am so glad this site appeals… Continue reading Where is home?

Homage or pathetic copy
I don’t think the Lifan 320 is an Homage to the Mini Cooper. But at least, it gives us a vague idea of what a 4 door version of the Mini could have looked like….

A little bit more…
Is there such a thing as “enough” sexy girls from the German Essen auto show….

German auto show babes
Let me explain. These are pretty girls (AKA sexy babes) from a German auto show in Essen. Quite different than what we get here…

Alfa Mito interior
Looks like the small Alfa Mito looks better outside than inside. For my money I’ll take the Mini Cooper. I know the Alfa looks great, but that interior reminds me of their 80’s models. And they didn’t have the best interiors…

Mazda Biante
The new Biante is one weird looking Mazda.Just when you thought they could do no wrong, they come up with this horrific looking thing.Even most Chinese cars now look better than this. And I thought they were out of the minivan business? The Japanese version of the new MPV looks more like a wagon. And we… Continue reading Mazda Biante

2010 Saab 9.5
I just wished the 2010 Saab 9.5 looked like that. Or even close to it.But I’m afraid they will, again, be led by fear. Fear of competing with mostly other boring looking luxury sedans. Saabs should be original. Not for everyone. We’ll know more in the summer of 2009, when the all new 2010 model… Continue reading 2010 Saab 9.5

Renault Laguna Coupe
This laguna coupe should look better than the sedan. And also better than the Altima coupe. But again, not for us. I didn’t know there was a real market for coupes in Europe. It was shrinking here a while ago. Toyota doesn’t seem to think there is one, canceling the Celica and Solara. But I guess Nissan and… Continue reading Renault Laguna Coupe

Next Nissan Cube
I guess this was also taken at that same dealer meeting.Even from this vague picture, it looks a bit more interesting than the new Scion. The next redesigned version of the Nissan Cube is scheduled for the US.With a 1.6 Liter engine. I can’t wait. I’ve always liked the current model and thought it would have… Continue reading Next Nissan Cube

Opel Insignia Hatchback
No big surprises here.A wagon would follow as well, and probably a coupe. And unfortunately, I really don’t think Saturn will offer the hatch in the US.Sales of the Mazda6 Hatch were pretty much a disaster over here. And nobody wants to take that chance again….

New MG Coupe convertible coming up.
Supposed to use the new Roewe 550 platform. Includes a 1.8 Liter turbo with a 2.5 Liter v6 option. The Chinese owners of the brand are even looking to set up a new dealer network in England. No talks about the US yet.

2010 Chevrolet Cobalt???
It appears that the next all new Cobalt, due for the 2010 model year, will be a rebadged version of the next Daewoo Nubira .Already sold in Europe as a Chevrolet. I guess it was a matter of time until GM turned over work on their small cars to Korea. The Aveo is already a… Continue reading 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt???

Compact Infiniti coming up?
Apparently, someone from the magazine “Car” was attending a Nissan presentation and took this picture with a cell phone. This is supposed to be the next all new Infiniti model. A small RWD coupe to compete with the new BMW 1 series. That would be a good move for the European market. But also over here.… Continue reading Compact Infiniti coming up?
