• More pictures of the small Buick sedan

Still the Chinese version called the Excelle GT. It is offered there with a base 1.8 Liter engine with 138hp. Similar to what we’ll get here on the Chevrolet Cruze. But instead of the Cruze’s 1.4 Liter turbo option, the Excelle’s top engine is a larger 1.6 Liter turbo with 181hp.

  • Mini Countryman in the street

I think it actually looks nice. The kind of cars that could look much better in the flesh. But I have to say, chrome looks good on Minis. (like on most British cars)Much better than the blacked out grille…

  • Opel Astra Sports Tourer

The wagon version of the Astra is another good looking Opel.It also seems like a junior version of the Insignia wagon, a good thing. We are getting the sedan version of this car next year as a compact Buick sedan. This would make a great looking compact Buick wagon. But with Ford not bringing the new… Continue reading Opel Astra Sports Tourer

  • 2011 VW Jetta Video

It does look more upscale than before, and than most of the competition. At least on this video. You can see the “2.5” logo on the rear of the car, so engine choice will be the same for the US.2.5 and 2.0Liter Diesel. They are rumors of a $16 000 base price. That would be more than… Continue reading 2011 VW Jetta Video

  • 2011 Nissan Juke

  • 2012 Euro Civic?

That illustration looks a bit too crazy to be realistic. Even though the current Civic model sold in Europe is still really modern looking.Nothing like the one we have over here. We’ll see next year if Honda decides to sell us the hatchback in the US.Ford will be selling the Focus hatch over here. And… Continue reading 2012 Euro Civic?

  • 2011 VW Jetta

First official pictures.Ahead of the official day (June 15th) Not sure yet if the US will get the usual large 2.5 Liter as standard. Or switch to a smaller and more efficient engine. I think it looks more upscale than the spy pics were leading us to believe, more like a small Audi. Still not… Continue reading 2011 VW Jetta

  • 2011 Mercedes SLK

This thing has been seen testing forever now.And still, all we have are spy pictures or illustrations like these. The SLK has always been a great looking car, and I’m sure the next one will not disappoint.Whether it looks like this or not,

  • 2011 VW Passat

The US will probably never get the revised Passat. We will get our own “larger and cheaper” VW mid sized sedan instead. Now the Passat looks like its big brother, the Phaeton. Again. With the same front end used on every other VWs. I don’t think it fits the rest of the car. At all…

  • New VW Jetta next week.

Here s the word from VW. The recent spy pics we’ve seen of the car still have clever camouflage on them. So I really think the car will look much better, more like a small Audi, than we think. We’ll see….

  • 2011 Suzuki Swift

Looking surprisingly similar to the current model. We’ll see if Suzuki keeps its word and sell it in the US. He had the Swift here before. A long time ago. As the Geo Metro. This is the current model that came out in 2004.

  • 2011 VW Phaeton

Just a few new pictures of the revised big VW for 2011. This is not a new car. It is basically the same one that came out in 2002.New front, rear lights, more chrome and new trims inside. Not even a new interior. I always thought the car looked pretty old when it came out,… Continue reading 2011 VW Phaeton

  • New Hyundai i45 commercial

Australian commercial for the local version of our Sonata. I can’t really see any difference with the model sold in the US…

  • Opel Insignia Wagon spotted in Michigan

Again! Even though some people at GM say they are more interested in the 5 door hatchback Insignia as the next available version of the Regal, a few wagons have been seen driving around in the US. I think both could be a good idea. But, who am I. Really….

  • Still driving the Taurus…

And so far, liking it very much. Some small observations: -It does look great, people do notice.-Yet haven’t seen another one since I started driving it.-Excellent ride.-Very quiet.-Great Sony stereo.-Quite a pleasure to drive every day.
