• 2020 Nissan Versa

Not sure we have seen prototypes of the new Sentra in the US yet. But here is the new Versa. (top) Which already looks much sleeker than the current horrific looking model. (bottom) Not only is it a horrible looking car, but it old. Since it came out in 2012. (And it drives like an… Continue reading 2020 Nissan Versa

  • New Tesla Model Y teaser

Yes. Jusat hours before the official reveal, we are getting this Model Y teaser.  I posted a Model 3 picture right underneath so we can compare the two. The new Y does look taller. But it still could just be a raised up Model 3 with a hatchback. ( Like I suspect) Ground clearance still… Continue reading New Tesla Model Y teaser

  • 2020 Buick Encore

After seeing so many spy shots of camouflaged prototypes driving around, we finally are getting a good look at the real thing. The new 2020 Buick Encore does look quite a bit sleeker than the outgoing model. But also, a bit more generic. And also, more like a Chevrolet. This looks more like a smaller Chevrolet… Continue reading 2020 Buick Encore

  • New Honda Envix

It is getting hard to keep up with the many odd-looking sedans Honda is offering in the Chinese market. but this “new” Envix looks like a Crider (blue car) with a new front end. I had noticed before that the Crider grille looked a bit like the one on our larger Honda Accord. I just… Continue reading New Honda Envix

  • 2020 Hyundai Sonata

It is still hard to say how the rear end actually looks like. It seems droopy from some angle. And not otherwise. Still too bad this is not a true hatchback (At least I don’t think so) No matter what, it does seem like a huge leap from the current one. With quite a personality…

  • 2020/21 Kia Sorento

As you can see, it is way too early to tell what the next Sorento will really look like. Under all that camouflage… The new Sorento will not be Kia’s “big SUV” anymore since the Telluride is now available. It might even lose it’s available 3rd row of seats and be more like the new Hyundai… Continue reading 2020/21 Kia Sorento

  • Cruising Instagram…

The cool images I found this weekend: A couple of very nice 60’s Cadillac convertibles. A hatchback Mustang Concept. An early design proposal for the first generation Ford Fiesta. Some weirdo pick-u/convertible Pontiac Trans-Am conversion. A couple of “what could have been ” Mercedes coupes. A strange canvas top option for the Citroen DS. And… Continue reading Cruising Instagram…

  • New Tesla Model Y Teaser

Tesla has released a new teaser picture (on top) of the all-new Model Y ahead of its unveiling next week. As predicted, it looks a lot like the model 3 (bottom pic) Since Elon Musk has already mentioned that only 25% of the Model Y will be different from the Model 3, the 2 cars will… Continue reading New Tesla Model Y Teaser

  • Buick Excelle GT

Buick used to seel the Opel Astra hatchback in China, as the Buick Excelle. Then a sedan version. (Sold here for a while as the Buick Verano) For the past few years, while we don’t get the Verano anymore, the Excelle has been their mainstream small sedan in China.  And this year is has been… Continue reading Buick Excelle GT

  • 2020 Cadillac XT-6 price

The all-new Cadillac XT-6 will start at $53 690 (including transportation) This is for the Premium Luxury model. The “Sport” with standard AWD will start at $59 090. Apparently, other Cadillac models will follow this new “trim strategy”. Where only 2 models will be offered, Sport or Luxury. Each with a couple of option packages.… Continue reading 2020 Cadillac XT-6 price

  • 2020 Tata Altroz

Indian manufacturer Tata has just revealed their new “premium urban car” called the Altroz. And I think it looks very nice. Since, even though they describe as “premium”, this will be a pretty inexpensive car. Competing with cars like lower-end versions of the Honda Fit. (Not the super cheap Datsun models) I think they did a really good job giving the… Continue reading 2020 Tata Altroz

  • 2020 Hyundai Sonata Video Teaser

Nothing we haven’t seen from the pictures I posted yesterday. Still quite interesting. We do get a closer look at these, very original, LED lights running along the front hood, above the headlights. Which could be quite a sight in real life.

  • 2020 Buick Encore

As you can see, the proportions of the new 2020 Buick Encore will be very similar to the current model. Although it seems a little bit longer. Especially behind the rear wheels. And the windows do look quite a bit larger, which would obviously mean better visibility all around. I also hear the 2020 model… Continue reading 2020 Buick Encore

  • 2020 Hyundai Sonata

I think the new redesign will make the Sonata one of the top choices for a midsize sedan in the US. I have to say, most cars in the segment look good (although I can never really get used to the current Camry somehow) The new Passat looks conservative yet modern and elegant. I do like… Continue reading 2020 Hyundai Sonata

  • 2020 Buick Lacrosse

That’s right. This was scheduled to be the revised Buick Lacrosse for 2020. And it looks great. With just enough changes front and back to really improve the car. Instead, GM chose to close the plant where the car is built. And cancel the Lacrosse all together. But it lives on in China, where the… Continue reading 2020 Buick Lacrosse

  • Aurus Senat

A peak of vulgarity would be to drive a blatant and cheaper copy of a Rolls Royce.  Or the same car as Vladimir Putin. With the Aurus Senat, you get both. Since it is the cheap looking Rolls copy Putin is being driven around with. The car is actually on display at the Geneva Auto… Continue reading Aurus Senat
