• 2011 Nissan Patrol

The new Patrol is actually closer to what we’ll get over here as the Infiniti version. (With a redesigned front end) Not much to say about this. 12mpg Truck SUV’s aren’t my thing.

  • 2011 Mercury Tracer

Apparently, it’s the best name they found to call the new Focus based Mercury sedan. If this scan sent to me by a reader is anything to go by, don’t expect a brand new car. The Tracer could just be a slightly fancier Focus. Just like the Milan is a Mercury Fusion. I guess it’s… Continue reading 2011 Mercury Tracer

  • 2011 Hyundai Sonata

If I were Hyundai, I would spend tons of mulah into promoting the new Sonata in the US. The car is pretty stunning in real life, with a great interior and vastly improved quality over the past few years. Now that the Camry is in trouble, Hyundai has a real chance to become a major… Continue reading 2011 Hyundai Sonata

  • Toyota Auris HSD Hybrid

This might give Toyota a better chance to sell more Hybrids in Europe. A hybrid version of the popular Auris (basically a Corolla hatchback) It will be cheaper than the Prius, but uses the same engine and electric motor for a total of 136hp. No hybrid version of the US Corolla is planned. Although Toyota… Continue reading Toyota Auris HSD Hybrid

  • Lexus CT

We’ll have to wait just a little bit longer for official pictures. But so far it looks close to the concept. And still a strong rumor it will not make it to the US. Which is strange. Maybe it will make it with a different engine… More on this really soon.

  • Porsche Panamera V6

No big news here. We all knew that the new Porsche sedan was going to get a V6 base model. A few years ago, 300hp was pretty much what you’d get out of a V8. But now, at least here in the US, you can get a $25 000 Camaro or 2011 Mustang with even… Continue reading Porsche Panamera V6

  • 2013 Dodge Caliber

Or whatever it will be called by then. It will be based on the same platform as the all new Alfa Giulietta. A PT Cruiser replacement will also be based on that platform. At least the rendering looks very nice. And by that time they will also have the new 300 and Charger out. But… Continue reading 2013 Dodge Caliber

  • Honda Fit Hybrid

Apparently, there is a delay in the Hybrid version of the Fit. Maybe because it would compete too much with the already struggling Insight? The Fit is a popular model for Honda. About as roomy as the Insight and the Hybrid would be cheaper than the Insight too. We’ll see…

  • 2012 Toyota Prius Coupe?

Toyota is working on a sportier coupe version of the popular Prius. This illustration shows what it could look like. It will compete with Honda’s new CR-Z the same way the regular Prius competes with the new Insight. It will be roomier and will get much better mileage. Good luck to Honda with their 35mpg… Continue reading 2012 Toyota Prius Coupe?

  • Audi A1 details

At least on these pictures, the interior seems really upscale for such a small car. But again, there is really nothing new, inside and out.

  • 2011 Mazda2 for the US

Finally a picture of the US version’s interior. (top photo) Which at first looks the same, but it also different. Dials, controls and right side of the dash. A bit simpler and not as fancy as the Euro version maybe… Still. A welcome addition to Mazda’s US line up

  • All new Nissan 1.6 Liter Turbo engine.

Producing 190hp in the new Juke! Quite amazing. If it is also smooth a quiet, this little engine could pretty much replace any other 4 cylinder engine they currently use. All the way up to the Altima…

  • 2011 Lexus CT 200h

This is the production version of the LF-Ch concept we saw a few months ago. It is supposed to compete mainly with the Audi A3. All we can tell from this teaser picture is that it is a hybrid with a 2.0 Liter engine. More on this very soon…

  • Next Saab 9-3?

This illustration shows what it could look like when it comes out in 2012. The next 9-3 will once again be available as a 5 door hatchback. Just like it should have been all along. Let’s hope it looks close to this picture. After seeing the great looking new 9-5 , I am pretty confident… Continue reading Next Saab 9-3?

  • The grey Juke

In this color at least, the Juke doesn’t seem so goofy. And I do like the interior, even though we’re not seeing the whole picture. And we have to keep in mind that, just like the Cube, the Juke is based on the Versa. That means a 1.8 Liter with a CVT. Unless they decide… Continue reading The grey Juke
