2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe
Of course, while BMW is calling this a “Coupe”. This si actually a sedan. It will compete with Mercedes’s new A-Class sedan. And also, why not, Mercedes’s own “fake coupe”, the CLA. As well as the redesigned Audi A3 sedan, due out very soon. Inside, it looks like it is trying to compete with the… Continue reading 2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

2020/21 Genesis GV70
As we know, the new Genesis brand is already late in the SUV market. But things will change in 2020 when at least 2 new SUVs will be launched. The GV80 we have mentioned many times before. And this smaller, GV70 as well. Which, I guess, in the US should be competing with the Lexus… Continue reading 2020/21 Genesis GV70

2020 Lincoln Corsair gets larger screen in China
Again, Ford is offering a much larger screen in the Chinese market version of their cars. As seen here on the Chinese version of the Lincoln Corsair (top pic) Which is a bit strange. They should at least offer this as an option in the US. They also offer a massive, giant screen on the… Continue reading 2020 Lincoln Corsair gets larger screen in China

Honda Pilot test drive coming up…
I will be driving a Honda Pilot Touring for the next few days. Feel free to ask anything you would like to know about it. So far, it’s OK. But nothing like the Buick Enclave and a few others…

2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport
I think this actually looks quite good. Much nicer, to me, than the regular super boxy Atlas. And since it uses the same wheelbase, there should be plenty of room for 5 and the cargo space is pretty huge. Too bad VW has so far only released pictures of the sportier “R” trim. With its… Continue reading 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport

2020/21 Kia Optima
Just another next generation Kia Optima photo… Which will probably, again, be a really good looking sedan. Now appearing in an ever shrinking sedan market. Although sale numbers have actually be growing for those who stay in the sedan game. Since there are less models to pick from.

2021 Toyota RAV-4 Plug-in Hybrid
You will soon be able to get a plug-in Hybrid version of the RAV-4. No specs yet. But let’s hope it offers a longer EV range than the Prius with only 25 miles. Something over 35miles would start being useful. It will do battle with the all new 2020 Ford Escape Plug-in. Which basically will… Continue reading 2021 Toyota RAV-4 Plug-in Hybrid

2021 Toyota Mirai
Toyota is calling this a “Concept”. But really, this is pretty much the next generation Mirai Fuel Cell sedan which will be available at the end of next year. Except for the huge wheels. And hopefully, the weirdo/slightly tacky coper interior trim… Otherwise, this is a huge update. As it finally looks like a nice… Continue reading 2021 Toyota Mirai

2020 Toyota Yaris
I have mentioned the 2020 Toyota Yaris before, but this seems to be a better look at the all new small hatchback from Toyota. Strangely enough, what is now sold as the 2020 Yaris hatchback in the US is just a rebadged Mazda 2. So it looks like the “real new Yaris” from Toyota might… Continue reading 2020 Toyota Yaris

2021 VW ID.4
While we are not getting the cute ID.3 hatchback in the US, VW will be selling us the upcoming ID.4 Crossover. Which will be slightly larger than the ID. And based on the exact same platform. The photo on top is a pretty realistic illustration of what to expect. Since it matches very closely the covered… Continue reading 2021 VW ID.4

2020 Honda Fit/Jazz
Just comparing the newest picture on top of the real thing, with the previous photos I had posted on this site a while ago. Which, I guess, would still be just illustrations. But they do see so close to the real thing (top pic) Except for the lack of grille on the real car. The… Continue reading 2020 Honda Fit/Jazz

2020 Cadillac CT4 Price
The new small Cadillac sedan will start at $33 900. Which, I think, is a bit too much for the current market… As it is only about $3000 less that the larger CT5. That CT5 is almost $10 000 less than the car it replaces, the CTS. Which is pretty aggressive pricing from GM. But… Continue reading 2020 Cadillac CT4 Price

2020/21 Alfa Romeo Tonale
It is really good to see the production version being so close to the concept. But also weird to see that basically, there is no more bumper protection on this car. Look at the rear hatch and the front hood. Both sticking out as far as the “bumper’ area. I know the Tonale is just… Continue reading 2020/21 Alfa Romeo Tonale

2020 Honda Fit
In this raw of small Hondas, you can see the all new Fit on top. The first 3 cars in the raw. Looking almost exactly like the pictures I posted a while ago (HERE). We don’t know much yet. But the European version, called the Jazz, will only be available as a Hybrid. Using the… Continue reading 2020 Honda Fit

Mystery BMW SUV…
At first I thought this was the production version of the upcoming iNext EV. But it actually does not really match other spy shots. Plus, 4 exhaust pipes. (Which, of course, could be part of the camouflage. ) But the rear hatch seems to be opening much lower than on the other iNext prototypes… And… Continue reading Mystery BMW SUV…

2020 Kia Sorento
Obviously, the picture on top is the next one. The current model still looks really good. So let’s hope Kia doesn’t mess things up. The new one doesn’t really look larger. Things are getting crowded for the Sorento. Which will now be squeezed between the new Telluride, and an upcoming redesigned, and slightly larger, Sportage.… Continue reading 2020 Kia Sorento

Audi eTron coupe coming up???
That would be nice. Not many new coupes out there these days (I mean the real kind, with 2 doors) So a new electric two door car from Audi would be cool. And maybe a convertible later. But so far, this will be a concept. Coming soon…

2020 Corvette Convertible: minus black trim.
This grey would not be my favorite color. But it is nice to see the new Corvette is a “not flashy” trim/color combo. And, just like on the coupe, you can delete all that black trim. And make the car’s original lines more visible.

2020 Corvette: Coupe Vs.Convertible
The new Corvette is again braking with the tradition. Since the convertible version used to offer a true convertible, open air experience. Now the only difference is the fact that the top is powered on the convertible. Unlike the coupe. But the top doesn’t actually open more at all. I wish they had found a… Continue reading 2020 Corvette: Coupe Vs.Convertible

2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Vs. Engelberg Tourer Concept
As expected, the recent Engelberg Tourer Concept was a preview of the next generation Mitsubishi Outlander. Which is really due for a redesign since it came out back in 2012. As you can see on the pictures above, the production version will stay very close to the concept design. Sure, the wheels are much smaller… Continue reading 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Vs. Engelberg Tourer Concept
